Job Description

JP Recruit is looking to recruit Registered Nurses to work at a family planning and sexual health clinic in Brixton area, South West London.All posts on offer are on a Permanent contracts and come with excellent salary and overall benefits package.The clinic provides specialist healthcare to men and women. Based within walking distance from Brixton town centre, the clinic is near to all underground and bus services and has ample on-site parking facilities.As a registered nurse at the clinic you will be working 37.5hrs per week (part time also considered) Monday - Friday between 8am -6 pm. The Occasional Weekend Clinic is ran on a \"if and when\" basis, so flexibility is essential.Your key duties will include:• Admission of clients• Undertaking pre-operative pregnancy and vasectomy consultations, including providing information on operationalprocedures, anaesthesia, contraception, STI and aftercare• Pregnancy testing• Chlamydia/STI screening• Blood testing and ultrasound scanning (training provided)• Maintenance of client confidentiality and DATA protection• Recovery of clients and monitoring observations following treatment• Providing confidential telephone advice for clients with post-operative problems following discharge• Administration of drugs to clients, following NMC guidelines (A full and comprehensive job description is available upon request)To Qualify for this Role, you must have the following:Current NMC Pin registrationPost registration experience * Please note, newly qualified maybe considered if experience in Gynae and family planning has been completed during TrainingSalary on offer is £28,392 plus excellent benefits.
