Your role will be to design and develop high quality products for a specialist industry. Although primarily software based, you will be involved throughout the project cycle; from inception through to completion. You will be responsible for the management and undertaking of prototype designs, production designs, design validation and product approval, prior to manufacture.

The client produce and test their PCB assemblies in house, including on board switch mode power supplies. Their products use a range of MCU’s from 8 bit to the latest ARM 32 bit architectures. Training will be provided on our existing development systems to enable understanding and maintenance of existing software projects.

The design department is also responsible for providing assistance to the manufacturing and QA departments in order to maintain the highest quality products in the industry. As a result, the role will also involve the basic use of electronics skills to trouble shoot new and existing designs.
My client is looking for experience of working in this sector.
The role pays a salary of £30,000 - £34000 with excellent company benefits.
