This beautiful excellent Georgian country house hotel in East Sussex has been awarded multiple rosettes by the AA\'s judging panel for excellent fresh cuisine. Much of the local produce comes from the Hotel\'s estate and the restaurant is popular with the local guests and the hotel\'s residents. This hotel is currently looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to support the kitchen brigade.

The duties of this Commis Chef position will include:
-Maintaining the high standards of this establishment
-Supporting Senior Chefs
-Working on all sections as required by the Head Chef
-Preparing food prior to service
-Taking part in training and skill development
-Monitoring stick levels
-Ensuring Health and Safety legislation is adhered to

The working pattern for this position of Commis Chef Position will be five days out of seven as the business requires. Shifts will be a mixture of straight and split shifts with an average of forty eight hours per week. Commis Chef will be reporting to the senior chefs.

Candidates should be qualified to NVQ level 2 or equivalent.

Candidates for this position must be strong Commis Chefs with a passion for high standards and fresh food. You must be eager and enthusiastic to improve your skills and knowledge and have the ability to pick things up quickly! The ability to effectively follow orders as well as to work from one\'s own initiative are prerequisites of the Commis Chef role.
