Job Description

Senior Recruitment Consultant Location: Scotland Department: Public Sector Reports to: Business Group Manager Position Overview This role requires an individual to be dedicated to the development of SME business utilising all the tools available to source skilled and unskilled contractors to a broad range of clients. Responsible for the end to end process of qualifying leads, sales, fulfilling client requirements, successfully matching candidates and the follow up and management of the client relationship thereafter. This role will build on the knowledge and experience of a recruitment consultant providing the opportunity to single out key client accounts to grow and develop fully. Responsibilities - Linked to Balance Scorecard Client/Customer Focused * To keep customer focused through listening to customer needs * To make client sales and service calls and to take the opportunity to develop business whilst consolidating relationships and monitoring the service provided * Conduct activities to aid positive relationships and retention of clients and candidates * Initiate contacts and meetings to solicit referrals, sales leads and promote the full range of recruitment services offered by the company * To build a network of contacts in SME businesses within the industry sector * To advertise vacancies through appropriate mediums utilising Microdec and Broadbean * Conduct telephone/face-to-face interviews with candidates * Build and maintain suitable pools of candidates to fulfil client requirements * To follow up on interviews arranged; briefing candidates beforehand and managing the post interview process * Complete and submit relevant administrative correspondence for payroll purposes ie new starter forms, billing forms, change forms and termination forms as and when required * To manage the expectations of the client and candidate maintaining regular contact * Monitor candidate performance to assess the viability of future placement with clients * Visit clients as and when required * Assist and respond to candidate queries that are raised in a timely and courteous manner Finance Related * To meet or exceed agreed KPI\'s of personal sales, levels of service and GP targets * To write business in accordance with the company pricing policy on profitability and margins Learning and Development * To develop and demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the business and core disciplines of existing and new clients within your specialism * To provide support to team members and other parts of the company as required/directed * Keep up to date with market trends and industry movements affecting your sector of recruitment Quality * To obtain accurate job descriptions, person specifications and other information required to ensure accurate recruitment * To ensure all prospective candidates have the relevant paperwork to allow them to work legally * To maintain and update all records accurately on Microdec to ensure compliance * To adhere to company policies, systems, procedures and codes of practice to which the company subscribes Candidate Requirements Essential * Previous experience as a 360 billing Consultant within the recruitment industry and sector of specialism: Public Sector * Previous experience of delivering sales strategy and developing key accounts * Willingness and focus to confidently achieve targets and objectives * Ability to work under pressure * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Advanced level presentation skills (using PowerPoint) Desirable * Degree or equivalent level qualification * REC qualified * Competency based interviewing techniques Individual Qualities * Ambitious and confident * The emotional intelligence to value diversity, understand strategy and communicate that vision * Approachable, positive and fair attitude * A team player with an adaptable approach to work Advantage Technical Resourcing is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
